Owners Lily and Peter built it as a third place: a kids corner with a play kitchen, a community bulletin board, and a roughly 5,000-square-foot back courtyard. Open 8 to 4 every day.
The order
Drip coffee from local roaster Roseline paired with a slice of the moist coffee cake, or the cinnamon roll under cream cheese frosting; in warm months ask about the seasonal specials like the pistachio-and-rose Parkrose Pistachio latte.
