The Coffee Shop
SouthwestA self-described Raleigh Hills living room behind a strip-mall storefront on Scholls Ferry, with books, board games, and a little beer-and-wine bar in back. The coffee is Thornton Family Coffee Roasters, the signature lattes lean on house-made syrups, and a short menu of burritos, tacos, and avocado toast comes out of the kitchen alongside.
The order
A specialty latte built on their house syrups — the lavender and cardamom are the ones regulars beg them to bottle — and the carnitas burrito if you came hungry.

Know before you go
- In the Scholl's Plaza strip mall, easy to drive past
- Order at the counter, they bring it over; dogs welcome
- Open 7 AM–3 PM daily — a daytime spot despite the wine bar
- Parking gets tight; you may walk half a block
